Sony DCS T1 Blurry Pictures

Kudos to Sony. They were on my S* list because of the root kit scandal, but their customer service has won me back.
I purchased a Sony DCS T1 about 5 years ago when my daughter was born. About a year or so later I started having issues with the pictures becoming blurry and fuzzy when shot indoors or with little light. I had tried optimizing the settings [ISO, etc] and upgrading the firmware, but the problem still persisted. As a last ditch effort, I did a google search and found a website that stated the problem has affected a lot of cameras and that Sony would fix it for free. Here is the website.
I called Sony customer service on Saturday, spoke to a customer service representative and we concluded that it was the bad CCD chip. He said that to fix it was free and that he would send me an UPS label and all I had to do was ship the camera to sony [Free!] and they would fix it and return it to me. Not only was the rep. very knowledgeable, but friendly and courteous. Did I mention this was on a Saturday when most customer service centers are closed?
You won me back Sony and I guess will be buying that Sony LCD TV in the near future.
