CoD MW3 Progress Plan

I started playing CoD MW3 on Xbox and I am the absolute worst. On a computer with a keyboard and mouse I have always been an excellent FPS player, but with a console controller, I am pathetic!
Here are some tips I can offer for someone that is close to 40 who is transition from mouse/keyboard to console controller:
- You have to sit in front of your TV to see your enemies. Playing 15′ on the couch is not going to cut it
- Wear headphones or sit closer to the TV. It’s vital to hear footsteps
- Increase your sensitivity. I currently have mine on 7 and even though I’m struggling to aim, at least I can change my view quickly. 12/11/01: Im using 4 sensitivity and I think it’s working out well.
12/11/01 Update
I think I finally hit a turning point and I’m doing pretty well ranking in the top three in FFA or TD. It seems as though my right thumb finally has the ability to aim rather than just firing into the sky half the time. Additionally, I have found two weapons that I do great with: ACR for long range type maps and PP90m1 [not to be confused with the P90]. I created “ninja” classes for long and short term range which are really helping me after I get a kill. Using a silencer with dead silence and assassin pro are helping a lot.
