Scalloped Potatoes with Meat Stock and Cheese

--Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes, sliced
- ½ clove garlic, unpeeled
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- ⅛ tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 cup brown stock
Method
Rub baking dish with garlic. Smear inside of baking dish with 1 tablespoon butter.
Layer potatoes, salt pepper cheese and butter and when complete add stock
Put over high heat and when simmering transfer to oven at 425 degrees
